For each Walk to Emmaus, a prayer vigil is designated to begin at 6:00 p.m. on Thursdsay evening of the Walk and ends at 3:00 p.m. on Sunday.
The Coastal Bend Community Prayer Vigil Coordinator uses Signup Genius to create time slots where members in our Community and members from other Communities can signup to pray in 30-minute intervals. Once a Walk is setup to start a Prayer Vigil signup the link will be provided on this page of the Website, as well as be promoted frequently in the Community Connections Newsletter. Simply click on the words Prayer Vigil next to the Walk and you will be directed to the Signup Genius Webpage.
Signup Genius is a free site supported by advertising. Do not click on any advertisements.
Follow these steps to signup for the prayer vigil
- Click on the words Prayer Vigil below the Walk # and date and you will be directed to the Signup Genius Webpage.
- Click “signup” next to the time slot(s) that you want to choose
- Click “Submit and Signup” at the bottom of the screen
- Review slot chosen. If agreeable, scroll down and click “signup Now”
- You will now see a “thank you” screen
- Scroll down and click “return to signup”
- You should now see your name listed beside the time(s) you selected.
- Click out of screen and you are done
