Per SWTC Bylaws dated April 25, 2007, the LD, ALD, Secretary, Treasurer, SD and ASD shall be elected to office and serve a one year term. The Past LD shall also serve a one year term. The Conference Board Representative is appointed to the Board and shall serve a 3 year term. Other Lay Officers, (listed on the following page) shall be appointed and serve a one year term. Terms of office commence on June 1 and end on May 31.
The Emmaus movement does not exist primarily for the weekend Walks.
Its purposes are to deepen the faith of individuals, to increase the faith of congregations, and to bring Christianity to the world.
